Top loading chamber furnace, with salt bath retort

• Chamber furnace manufactured with high temperature resistance wire spirals embedded in a cast refractory slab, mounted on all four sides of the chamber.
• Inner retort is made from 5mm thick 316 grade stainless steel.
• Retort internal dimensions are 400mm high x 230mm wide x 230mm deep.
• The retort has a removable lid with handle, which rests on a 5mm thick flange around the top of the retort. A glass fibre high temperature ‘P’ section seal is used to help retain the gases within the chamber. A vent pipe is also incorporated within the inner liner to control the vented gas removal. The lid has a thermocouple access gland.
• The outer retort liner is made from 3mm thick Inconel 601 fitted to provide additional protection to the heating elements. Internal dimensions are 440mm high x 270mm wide x 270mm deep.
• Temperature control: Eurotherm 3216P1 dual display PID controller showing setpoint and furnace temperature. An adjustable ramp to setpoint feature is included.
• Temperature sensors: type 'R' thermocouple
• Temperature alarm: Eurotherm 2132 digital instrument is fitted to shut down the furnace in the event of overheating.
• Power control: zero voltage switching solid state relays.
• Power supply: 220 volts three phase without neutral.
